Why us

Why Choose Easy Fit Movers

Every moving website in Dubai claims to be the best one. None of them can prove it, and you have no way to check before the truck arrives. So here is what we do instead — specific things you can hold us to on the day.

Surveyed, then quoted

We look at the job before we price it, so the number you agree is the number you pay. A quote given blind over the phone is a guess, and guesses get corrected upward once the truck is loaded.

Materials in the price

Cartons, bubble wrap, stretch film, tape and paper are part of the quote, not a line added at the end. You do not need to source a single box.

Dismantling and reassembly as standard

Beds, wardrobes and tables come apart and go back together, with the fittings bagged and taped to the piece they came off. Rebuilt the same day, not left as a flat pack in the hall.

We handle the building side

Move permits, service-lift bookings and security paperwork are ours to chase, at both ends. Tell us the two buildings and we will tell you what each of them wants.

Extras named upfront

Long carries, storage, out-of-hours slots and stair work are priced and stated before you book. Being told about a cost afterwards is what people actually mean when they say a mover was expensive.

Cleaning under the same booking

Move-out and move-in cleaning runs off the same job sheet, timed for when the property is empty. One company, one date, one person to call.

How it works

How Your Move Actually Runs

Six steps from the first message to the last carton flattened. Step two is the one most Dubai movers skip and then charge you for later.

  1. 01

    Tell us what you have

Call, WhatsApp or send the form. What we need is the rooms, the two addresses, and roughly when. Photos or a quick video walk-through of each room gets you a far more accurate number than a description, and takes you about two minutes.

  2. 02

    We survey before we price

For anything larger than a one-bedroom we look properly — in person or over a video call — at the volume, the fittings that need dismantling, and how both buildings are accessed. This is the step that stops the price changing on the day, which is the single most common complaint about movers in this city.

  3. 03

    You get a written quote

In writing, itemised, with what is included and what would be extra stated plainly. If a lift booking, a building permit or an out-of-hours slot changes the cost, you see that before you agree to anything rather than on an invoice afterwards.

  4. 04

Permits and the slot get arranged

Once the date is fixed we send our documents to your building management and you confirm the permit and the service-lift window. Most Dubai towers will not let a crew start without it, and a truck idling in the loading bay while paperwork is chased is the most avoidable delay there is.

  5. 05

    Packing, dismantling and the move

The crew arrives with the materials. Rooms are packed and cartons labelled by destination room, furniture comes apart with its fittings bagged and taped to it, everything is wrapped, loaded and driven over. Fragile items are packed last and unloaded first.

  6. 06

    Reassembly, placement and sign-off

Furniture goes back together and into the room you want it in, not stacked in the hall. Beds are rebuilt so you can sleep that night. We walk the property with you before the crew leaves, and take the empty cartons away with us unless you want them for a while.

Questions

Frequently Asked Questions

What people ask before booking a mover in Dubai, answered without the sales pitch.

Studio and small one-bedroom moves within Dubai generally start around AED 500, and the figure climbs with the volume of furniture, the number of rooms, whether packing is included, and how the two buildings are accessed. Access is the part people underestimate: a ground-floor villa with the truck on the driveway is a different job from a fourth-floor walk-up in International City with a 60-metre carry. We would rather look at your rooms than guess — send photos on WhatsApp and you will get a real number rather than a range.

Four things, in roughly this order of impact. Volume — how much there is to carry, which is what decides crew size and how many truck runs it takes. Access at both ends — lift or stairs, how far the truck can park from the door, and whether a service lift has to be booked. Services — packing, dismantling, reassembly and unpacking each add labour and time. And timing — a move that has to happen tomorrow, or on a Friday evening, costs more than one booked with a week of notice.

Materials are included in the quote — cartons, bubble wrap, stretch film, tape and paper. You do not need to buy anything or collect boxes from a supermarket. If you would rather pack your own clothes and books to keep the cost down and leave us the kitchen, glass and electronics, that is a normal way to split it and we will price it that way.

Often, yes. Same-day and next-day moves are something we do regularly, and a small apartment at short notice is usually manageable. It depends on what the crews are already committed to that day, so the honest answer is to call rather than message — a phone call gets you a yes or no in a couple of minutes, where a WhatsApp might sit unread while a crew is mid-job.

Yes, and it is part of the standard job rather than an extra. Beds, wardrobes, dining tables, desks and shelving units come apart at the old place and go back together at the new one. Fittings are bagged and taped to the piece they belong to, which is the step that stops a wardrobe arriving with no cam bolts. Two things we will flag rather than force: fitted wardrobes built into the wall, and IKEA particle-board units that have already been dismantled once — those do not always survive a second time, and we would rather tell you that beforehand.

Two to three days is comfortable for an apartment and lets you pick your slot. A villa or an office is better with a week, mostly because both usually need a building permit or a lift booking arranged in advance, and building management works to its own timetable rather than yours. End of month is the busiest window in Dubai by a wide margin — most tenancy contracts turn over then — so if your move has to happen in the last week of a month, book earlier than you think you need to.

Most managed towers and gated communities in Dubai require a move-in or move-out permit, and many will not let a truck onto the property or release the service lift without one. The request usually goes to building management or the community team a few days ahead, and they often ask for a copy of the tenancy contract, the mover's trade licence and sometimes a refundable deposit. Tell us the building when you book and we will tell you what it needs and send over our paperwork.

Anything flammable or pressurised — gas cylinders, paint, thinners, aerosols in quantity — cannot travel in the truck. We also ask you to carry passports, Emirates ID, jewellery, cash and medication yourself rather than putting them in a carton, not because they are unsafe but because you will want them in your hand rather than in the eleventh box of nineteen. Live plants and pets travel with you. Pianos, safes and large aquariums are possible but need to be discussed first, because they change the crew and sometimes the equipment.

Yes. Office and commercial work runs differently from a household move — it is usually scheduled for an evening or a weekend so nobody loses a working day, workstations and IT are labelled by seat rather than by room, and documents move in sealed, numbered cartons that stay in order. Warehouse and stockroom relocations are handled the same way, with the inventory checked at both ends.

All of it. In practice most of our work runs along the eastern side of the city — Al Rashidiya, Mirdif, Al Warqa, Muhaisnah, Al Qusais, Silicon Oasis and International City — and across through Deira, Bur Dubai and Al Quoz to Al Barsha, JVC, Discovery Gardens and out to Jebel Ali. We are based in Al Barsha South, so the western communities are close to home and the eastern ones are where the crews spend most of their days.

Tell us before the crew leaves the property if you possibly can — it is far easier to resolve something we can look at on the spot than something reported a fortnight later. If you want cover beyond that, ask us for our current insurance position in writing before you book, and get the same in writing from anyone else you are comparing us against. A moving company that answers that question with a verbal "fully insured" and nothing on paper is telling you something.

Yes — move-out and move-in cleaning is a service we run alongside the move, which is usually the point at which it is useful. An empty property cleans properly in a way a furnished one cannot, and a landlord inspection on an unfurnished flat is a great deal less contentious when the place has been done after the last carton left rather than around the furniture the week before.
