Furniture handling
Furniture Movers in Dubai
Sometimes it is not a move — it is a wardrobe, a sofa and a dining table going across town, or a bed that needs taking apart and rebuilding two floors up. Furniture moving is that job priced as itself, rather than as a house move you do not need.

-
Single items are a real booking
One sofa is a job we will quote and turn up for, not something we tack onto someone else's move.
-
Fittings stay with the piece
Screws, cams and dowels bagged and taped to the frame they came off. This is the whole reason wardrobes get rebuilt instead of propped up.
-
Wrapped before it moves, not after
Blankets, film and corner protection go on at the property. Most furniture damage happens in doorways and lifts, not in the truck.
-
Assembly-only, if that is all you need
Flat-pack delivered and still boxed? We will build it and take the packaging away.
Not everything is a move. Quite often it is one wardrobe, a sofa and a dining table going from Al Qusais to Mirdif, or a bed that needs dismantling and rebuilding two floors up in the same building.
That job does not need a survey, a packing day or a house-move quote. It needs a crew, a truck and someone who will keep the screws with the wardrobe.
The fittings are the whole thing
There is one reason furniture gets rebuilt properly and one reason it does not, and it is not skill. It is whether the fittings stayed with the piece.
Every wardrobe, bed and table we take apart has its cams, dowels and screws bagged, labelled and taped to its own frame before the piece leaves the room. Not into a single tub of hardware for the whole job — that is how a bed ends up rebuilt with a wardrobe’s bolts and a wardrobe ends up standing on trust.
Wrapped in the room, not at the truck
Furniture is rarely damaged in transit. It is damaged in doorways, on lift thresholds and against stairwell corners — all of which happen before it reaches the vehicle. So blankets, film and corner protection go on where the piece stands, and stay on until it is in position at the far end.
Mattresses go into bags, sofas into covers, glass tops and mirrors are wrapped and carried on edge.
Assembly on its own
If new furniture has arrived flat and is still in its boxes, we will build it without moving anything. Wardrobes, beds, desks, shelving. The packaging goes with us, which for a bedroom’s worth of flat-pack is a surprising amount of cardboard to be rid of.
What we will tell you not to move
Fitted wardrobes bolted into the wall usually belong to the landlord and are not built to come out. Particle-board furniture that has been dismantled before does not always survive a second time — we will say so before we start rather than after. And pianos, safes and large aquariums are all possible, but they are their own job with their own crew and equipment, and pretending otherwise helps nobody.
Part of something bigger?
If it is actually a whole property, house moving and apartment moving cover those. If you want the packing done as well as the furniture handled, that is packing services.

How it works
- 1 Send a photo For furniture this is genuinely enough. One picture of the piece and we can quote it.
- 2 Tell us the two ends Floor, lift or stairs, and how close the truck can park.
- 3 Fixed price For a defined list of items the price is fixed, not hourly.
- 4 Dismantle and protect Taken apart where it needs to be, wrapped before it leaves the room.
- 5 Move and rebuild Reassembled and placed where you want it, the same visit.

Frequently asked questions
Yes. A single wardrobe or sofa is a normal booking and it is priced as one, which is much less than a half-day minimum on a general move. Send a photo of the piece and tell us the floor at both ends and we can usually quote within the hour.
Yes, assembly-only is a service on its own. Flat-pack wardrobes, beds, desks and shelving units built where you want them, with the cardboard and polystyrene taken away — which is the part most people underestimate the volume of.
Sometimes. Particle-board furniture holds together well the first time it is dismantled and much less reliably the second, because the cam fixings bite into fresh board and a re-drilled hole never grips the same way. If a piece has already been moved once we will tell you before we start that it may not go back as solidly as it came apart, and let you decide.
Yes, and it is more common than people expect — a wardrobe going up a floor, a sofa out to the terrace, a room being converted. No transport involved, just the crew and the equipment.
We can take it away as part of the same booking. It is worth adding at the time of quoting, because handling disposal as its own separate job later almost always costs more than folding it into a visit that is already happening.
