Commercial moving
Office Movers in Dubai
An office move is judged on one thing: whether people can work on Sunday morning. Everything else — how neatly it was packed, how carefully it was driven — is invisible if the answer is no. So we plan backwards from that morning and move out of hours.

-
Moved outside working hours
Evenings and weekends as standard, so nobody loses a billable day and the lifts are free.
-
Labelled by seat, not by room
Every crate, monitor and chair is tagged to a desk position on the new floor plan. People arrive to their own things, already in the right place.
-
Documents stay in order
Files move in sealed, numbered crates that keep their sequence. Nothing is tipped into a carton.
-
IT disconnected and reconnected in sequence
Screens, docks and peripherals cabled back at the right desk. Servers and comms coordinated with your IT people, not around them.
The measure of an office move is Sunday morning. Not how neatly it was packed or how carefully it was driven — whether eighteen people sit down, plug in and work. Everything in the plan is built backwards from that.
Which is why office moves run at night and at weekends. Not as a premium option, but because it is the only sensible way to do it: the goods lifts are free, the corridors are empty, and nobody is trying to finish a proposal while their desk is being dismantled underneath them.
Seat numbers beat room names
Household moves are labelled by room. Offices cannot be, because “open plan” is not a destination. So we take your new floor plan, number every desk position on it, and label everything to a seat.
Each person gets a crate marked with their seat number and packs their own desk contents into it. Their monitor, dock, chair and pedestal carry the same number. On the new floor, everything lands where its number says. The alternative — a room full of identical black crates and a lot of guessing on Sunday morning — is what an office move looks like when this step is skipped.
Documents, and keeping them in sequence
Filing is the part that goes wrong quietly. A shelf tipped into a carton is technically moved and practically lost, and in a business with contracts, HR files or licensing paperwork that is a real problem rather than an inconvenience.
Files go into numbered crates in the order they came off the shelf and go back on the shelf in the same order. Anything confidential is sealed at source and opened only by your own staff.
IT: what we do and where we stop
We disconnect, transport, reconnect and cable-manage the desk hardware — screens, docks, printers, peripherals — so each seat is working when its occupant arrives. Servers and network equipment we will move and rack carefully.
What we do not do is commission the network. That belongs to your IT provider, and the useful thing we can do about it is coordinate with them rather than pretend the boundary is not there. The single most common cause of a failed Sunday morning is not a moving problem at all — it is an internet circuit at the new address that was ordered too late.
Shops, showrooms, clinics and warehouses
Retail is the same discipline compressed into one night, because the shop has to open. Stock, fixtures and display units, moved and set up overnight. For stockrooms, warehouses and anything inventory-led, warehouse moving covers how that is counted and checked. Office furniture on its own, without the IT and document side, is furniture moving.
Where we move offices
Business Bay, Deira and Bur Dubai for the established commercial stock, Dubai Silicon Oasis and Al Quoz for tech and light-industrial tenants, and Jebel Ali and Dubai Investments Park (DIP) for free-zone offices attached to warehousing.

What costs extra

- Electrical and data points at the new office
- Partition construction, joinery and fit-out works
- Confidential document destruction, which needs a certified shredding provider
Properties we handle
- Under 10 desks
- A single evening. Usually done between close of business and midnight.
- Ten to thirty desks
- One weekend. Friday evening load, Saturday placement and recabling.
- Thirty to eighty desks
- A full weekend with multiple crews, phased by department.
- Retail unit or showroom
- Stock, fixtures and display units. Almost always overnight, because the shop has to open.
- Clinic or salon
- Equipment-led rather than furniture-led, and specialist items are coordinated with their own suppliers.
How it works
- 1 Site visit Both offices. We count workstations, not square feet, because that is what the plan is built on.
- 2 Floor plan and seat numbers Your new layout becomes the labelling scheme. Everyone gets a number before the move.
- 3 Written plan and quote Sequence, timings, crew size, and who is responsible for the IT commissioning.
- 4 Building clearance Out-of-hours access, goods lifts and security passes at both towers.
- 5 Move night Pack, dismantle, load, move, place by seat number, reassemble, recable.
- 6 First morning We are on site as people arrive, for the things a floor plan never quite predicts.

Frequently asked questions
If the move runs Friday evening to Saturday and the new office already has power, data points and internet live, the realistic answer is none — people arrive on Sunday to a working desk. What creates downtime is almost never the furniture; it is the internet circuit at the new address not being active, which is ordered months ahead and is worth checking the week you sign the lease.
We move the hardware — desktops, monitors, docks, printers and peripherals — and reconnect them at the correct desk. Servers and network equipment we will move and rack, but commissioning them is your IT team's or vendor's job, and we schedule around whoever that is rather than assuming it is nobody.
Documents go into sealed crates, numbered, filled in the order they came off the shelf, and unpacked back onto the shelf in the same order. Nothing is tipped loose into a carton. For anything confidential, crates are sealed at the source and only opened by your own staff at the far end.
Yes, and it is what we recommend for anything above ten desks. Most Dubai commercial towers actively prefer it too, because a goods lift monopolised on a Tuesday afternoon affects every other tenant in the building.
Tell us at the site visit and we will separate it during the move so it does not travel. Disposal and clearance are quoted separately, and it is usually cheaper to handle it as part of the move than as its own job afterwards.
