Apartments and villa communities
Movers in Dubai Sports City
Sports City pairs mid-rise apartment towers with the gated Victory Heights villa community, which means two quite different moving jobs a few hundred metres apart — one needing a lift slot, the other needing a gate pass.
Two to three days for apartments; villas need a survey first, so allow longer.

Move permits in Dubai Sports City
Towers require a move permit and a booked service lift, two to three working days ahead. Victory Heights operates a community gate pass with permitted hours, arranged through its management office. Both are straightforward when there is lead time and neither can be done on the morning.
Sports City contains two distinct moving jobs within a few hundred metres of each other, and the mistake is assuming they are the same because they share a community name.
The towers
Standard managed Dubai apartments: a move permit, a booked service-lift slot, defined parking. Two to three working days of lead time, set by the building rather than by our availability. The detail is on apartment moving.
Victory Heights
A gated villa community, which means no lift and no loading bay — instead a gate pass, permitted hours, and a villa’s worth of volume. Gardens, store rooms and driveways.
These are surveyed on site, because as always the garden and store are the parts that cannot be judged remotely and the parts that decide whether it is a one-day or two-day job. villa moving covers it.
Moving within Sports City
Common enough to mention: a family outgrowing an apartment and taking a Victory Heights villa. Four minutes of driving and two entirely separate approval processes, one at each end. Worth starting both early.
Easy roads
Internal roads here are wide and truck access is good throughout. Once past the barrier or into the basement, this is an easy community to work in.

Moving in Dubai Sports City — common questions
Completely, despite being minutes apart. Victory Heights is a gated villa community — a gate pass, permitted hours, and a villa's worth of garden and store-room volume, surveyed on site. The towers are a standard apartment move with a lift booking. We quote them as the different jobs they are.
Regularly done, and it is one of the more common jobs here — an apartment to a Victory Heights villa as a family grows. Both ends need their own approval, so it is two processes even though the driving takes four minutes.
Two to three days for an apartment, which is set by the permit rather than by us. For a villa, allow longer so we can survey it properly and arrange the gate pass.

Studio and small one-bedroom moves within Dubai generally start around AED 500, and the figure climbs with the volume of furniture, the number of rooms, whether packing is included, and how the two buildings are accessed. Access is the part people underestimate: a ground-floor villa with the truck on the driveway is a different job from a fourth-floor walk-up in International City with a 60-metre carry. We would rather look at your rooms than guess — send photos on WhatsApp and you will get a real number rather than a range.
Four things, in roughly this order of impact. Volume — how much there is to carry, which is what decides crew size and how many truck runs it takes. Access at both ends — lift or stairs, how far the truck can park from the door, and whether a service lift has to be booked. Services — packing, dismantling, reassembly and unpacking each add labour and time. And timing — a move that has to happen tomorrow, or on a Friday evening, costs more than one booked with a week of notice.
Materials are included in the quote — cartons, bubble wrap, stretch film, tape and paper. You do not need to buy anything or collect boxes from a supermarket. If you would rather pack your own clothes and books to keep the cost down and leave us the kitchen, glass and electronics, that is a normal way to split it and we will price it that way.
