Everywhere else in Dubai you choose a moving date and then arrange the building side around it. In the Marina, particularly at month end, that order does not work.
Ask the building what slots are actually available first, then pick your date from what exists. It sounds like a small reversal and it is the difference between moving when you planned to and moving four days later.
Basement clearance
Loading here is underground and the height limit varies tower to tower. That clearance chooses the vehicle, not the volume of your flat. We check it for your specific building before dispatching, because a truck that cannot get down the ramp is a truck that cannot work here at all.
Furnished flats
A large share of Marina stock is furnished, which makes for genuinely small moves — belongings rather than furniture, often a half day. Just do not let the small volume tempt you into leaving the permit late, because the paperwork takes the same time either way.

Worth flagging because people assume it is trivial. It is a two-minute drive and two complete tower processes: two permits, two lift slots, two basement bays. The driving is the only easy part.

Studio and small one-bedroom moves within Dubai generally start around AED 500, and the figure climbs with the volume of furniture, the number of rooms, whether packing is included, and how the two buildings are accessed. Access is the part people underestimate: a ground-floor villa with the truck on the driveway is a different job from a fourth-floor walk-up in International City with a 60-metre carry. Four things, in roughly this order of impact. Volume — how much there is to carry, which is what decides crew size and how many truck runs it takes. Access at both ends — lift or stairs, how far the truck can park from the door, and whether a service lift has to be booked. Services — packing, dismantling, reassembly and unpacking each add labour and time. And timing — a move that has to happen tomorrow, or on a Friday evening, costs more than one booked with a week of notice.
